I’m still glowing from the Born To Teach ECE All-Star Conference in Houston, Texas, hosted by Child Care Chic, Latrice Crawford. Latrice truly knows how to throw a conference like no one else—every detail, from the powerful keynotes to the energy in the room, made this year unforgettable.

My Sessions

I had the privilege of presenting two sessions this year:

• Walk Away Wealthy – helping owners see their business as an asset and prepare for a profitable future.
• Master Your Finances – giving leaders practical tools to take control of their numbers and strengthen their schools.

The conversations that followed were amazing. So many childcare owners shared their stories, their challenges, and their goals—it was a reminder of why I love blending my work as a childcare owner and broker with opportunities to teach and inspire others in the field.

Conference Highlights

Beyond my sessions, I was inspired by some incredible leaders in our industry, including Beth Cannon, Vernon Mason Jr., Samantha Phillips, and Tameenah Adams. The mix of voices, perspectives, and strategies made the event a true powerhouse of learning and connection.
