I’m still buzzing from the energy of the NCCA (National Child Care Association) & NECPA (National Early Childhood Program Accreditation) 2024 National Leadership Conference, held April 25–27 in Austin. This premier event brought together childcare owners, directors, administrators, and trainers from across the country for professional development, networking, and inspiration.

A Standout Highlight: Enrollment Elevation Session

I had the honor of presenting “Enrollment Elevation: The Art of Captivating Tours” on Saturday—a 45-minute deep dive into turning school tours into powerful enrollment tools. Seeing so many eager leaders in the room, ready to refine their tour strategy, was truly rewarding.

Conference Highlights That Shined

  • The keynote speakers, including industry trailblazers Beth Cannon, Vernon Mason Jr., and Regina Miller, delivered visionary insights that resonated long after the session 
  • The DoubleTree by Hilton Austin University Area served as a warm and collaborative venue, complete with energizing sessions, built‑in networking breakfasts and lunches, and vibrant evening receptions 
  • I loved being in the Vendor Hall with Preschool Exchange—chatting with attendees and hearing firsthand how my strategies are impacting childcare businesses from behind the scenes.

Why This Event Was Truly Meaningful

The NCCA & NECPA conference is not just another event—it’s a gathering that shapes the future of early childhood leadership. It bridges accreditation rigor (NECPA) with leadership and advocacy (NCCA), making it a uniquely powerful place to learn, grow, and elevate the industry.
